The beginning of a new year makes us think about what sort of goals we should have.  What is a worthy, godly goal for God's people to pursue?  How about joy?  Is that a worthy, worthwhile goal to pursue?  Would the Lord be pleased if our congregation was known as a church that enjoyed life; a congregation that was happy?  Should pastor preach for the purpose of actually producing joy in their hearers?  Some would say, "Absolutely not!  God is more interested in our holiness than our happiness!"  Really?  Listen to "Joy!" and find out God says about this topic.
